Applying online is quick and simple.
If you’re investing alone or jointly with somebody else, you’ll need to:
  • Be aged 18 and over.
  • Be a New Zealand resident with an IRD number.
  • Have a NZ bank account (and a bank statement to upload).
  • Have your NZ or Australian passport or driver licence handy.
If you have a trust, company or other entity, you’ll need to:

We’ll then provide access to an online form designed to capture the other parties involved in your entity and additional documentation we’ll need to open your account with Welcome.
